What is a good freeware/shareware download website you'd recommend?

I must redownload some helpful programs to be used in my daily work and life. What is a good freeware/shareware download website you'd recommend?

1. Download.com is a long favourite of mine, but don't trust the ratings on files, most of the user reviewers don't know what they are talking about.

5. Hi there Use CNET or www.download.com or even Tucows but........look carefully at what you are downloading and do take the time to read the reviews. The reasons? 1/ Do they have an uninstaller? 2/ Are they a full trial version so you can try all the elements? 3/ Are they from a trusted source? 4/ Depending on what you want to do, are they already avaliable through your current Operating System?
