What are some of the most useful freeware/shareware programs you use on a regular basis?

Just curious -- what freeware/shareware programs that you've downloaded would you say are really useful to you? I'm thinking more about applications/helpers than games programs. What would you recommend as a "must get" download to your friends and family?

1. Ummm...the only one I can think of that I use is Winrar(Shareware)
2. Get an anti-spyware and a anti-virus. you should get at least two of the spyware, and only one of the anti-virus....but you should run themon a regular basis.

5. Password Safe. Great for keeping track of all of my passwords in an encrypted database. The Ultimate Boot CD for Windows. Great for fixing crashed computers Comodo free Firewall McAfee Site Advisor. Keeps me away from those bad websites
